About the CRC

What is the Coffeyville Recreaiton Commission

Established in 1945 to provide funding for Recreational Services to benefit our community. The five member CRC Board is an Autonomous governmental body appointed as follows: (2) City Commission, (2) USD BOE 445 and one At-Large, each serving a term of (4) years. The CRC Board meets monthly to approve all purchases and payroll. The CRC employs 6 Full time employess and over 100 part-time and seasonal employees.

How is the Coffeyville Recreation Commission Funded?

The CRC is funded by a mill levy, levied through USD 445 per state statute 12-1927 to Montgomery County. Field/Building Rentals, Program Fees, and Sponsorhips also help fund the CRC. The CRC is audited yearly purusant to K.S.A. 75-1122.

CRC BOARD MEETINGS

Take place on the 2nd Wednesday of the Month at 4:30 PM at the Bobby Clemons Recreation Center, 508 Park Street.

BOARD OPENING

The Coffeyville Recreation Commission is seeking an At-Large Board Commission Member to serve a four-year term. The CRC Board is comprised of five members: (2) appointed by the City Commission, (2) appointed by USD 445 and (1) At-Large appointed by the Recreation Commission Board. The CRC Board set policies, approves the yearly budget, and studies the needs of the community. Meetings are held on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 4:30 PM at the Bobby Clemons Recreation Center. BATTING CAGES

The Token Operated Batting Cages are CLOSED FOR THE SEASON. We will re-open them in the Spring of 2026.
